I am a home owner. 2 Years a 3 months ago I purchased a Craftsman leaf blower. About 2 weeks ago I could not start it. I followed the users guide and called the toll free number and followed the instructions with no success. Sears informed me it was beyond the two year warranty. When I dug deeper into the problem I discovered a defective engine block. I took it to the Sears store where I bought it, he could do nothing. He made three calls as he could see that my conclusion was legitimate, but there was no consideration offered for the defect. This was not a minor repairable failure, but a weakness that destroyed the engine. It has only been used in the summer at my home and has not been abused. I realize the product was out of warranty, but I feel consideration should have been given because of the nature of the failure.
