Utah's Department of Workforce Services (Food Stamps section) made a mistake when they calculated my shelter costs last year and they authorized me for food stamps. This year I get told I have to pay back all the food stamps I was given because of this mistake.
They admitted the mistake, by I now have to lose my genuine food stamps this year to pay back the amount they should not have allowed last year.
The worker who made this disastrous mistake will not get fired or even disciplined, but I get screwed to patch up their mistake.
