Letters were sent to my registered LLC's from Colorado Corporate Control, with a number after that, ostensibly my LlC's number. The letter cited the Colorado Revised Statutes regarding reporting; corporations becoming delinquent; asked for registered agent's name, address, etc.
It indicated that this was a required filing; then asked to include a check for $225 with the report. The address given was CCU; P.O. Box 46518; Denver, CO 80201; no telephone; no email; no website; and no physical address. Then, at the bottom, in small print, it says you are not obligated to make any payment, and the service is not endorsed by any government agency and this offer is not being made by any government agency.
Be careful out there.
