Two goons show up at your home after you've agreed to donate furniture for a "yeshiva." Then the demand payment — hundreds of dollars — to move your stuff out of your home. This is NOT a charity. They are a threatening, menacing scam. They pocket the cash and take the furniture.
I confirmed 3 times with the manager, Joseph, that his org. Would be happy to pick up my donated furniture in good condition. Two men showed up 90 minutes late and insisted that they spoke to Joseph — and he said there's no room in the warehouse for my stuff. Mind you: he and I had just spoken 2 times that day. However, for $200, they'd take it off my hands. I escorted them out. I then read reports on Yelp that these same two goons sexually harassed a woman who was donating goods to their org., and they also tore up the interior of the building of another woman on their way out the door. This is a scam.
