I went to the local Ashley's in Live Oak, TX and purchased a 6 seat dining room set with the china hutch, and also a sectional with a chase. This furniture was supposed to be delivered on 5/24 between 12-3pm. I received a phone call the night before and missed it saying that I did not confirm my delivery date and time with them. On 5/22 @ 247pm I received a text msg saying to reply yes to confirm my delivery date of 5/24 at 12-3pm. I replied yes at 248pm on 5/22, I then 248 pm on 5/22 i received a text back from Ashelys furniture telling me that my delivery has been confirmed. So I went to the local store in live oak TX this morning to figure out why my stuff was not being delivered even though I had confirmed my delivery and they could not give me an answer. I received another $139 credit and they told me that my furniture would be delivered today 5/24 between 6-9pm now per TJ (manager, not for sure of his name). That was fine. Come 845pm I called the Live Oak, TX store and talked to a Kimberly (manager) and she said that she was going to check for me and then call me back tonight. I still have yet to hear from her. At this point in time you could not pay me to take Ashley's furniture into my home right now. You all are deceiving, and ridiculous. You all do nothing that you are going to say you are going to do. I also had issues with the price changing 3 different times while trying to buy this furniture and I spoke with Dwayne (another manager) he gave me a good incentive to still purchase even though all the crap that has happened. I will be going to the store tomorrow and making sure that I am not charged for this furniture and I will be more than happy to sit on milk crates at this point in time, It would be better than being lied to every 5 minutes by poor management and delivery staff.
