Publix Grocery Store
Double parking in a fire lane

It would be a royal shame if someone were to park in a fire lane for a mere ten minutes or less and then come out of the store and see that one of their tires was flat, not low, but completely flat.

These morons think it is no big deal when they park on private property in a fire lane clearly posted which is required by the local municipality for the owner of the property which could be Publix or whomever holds the title to the property to properly display with the proper signage on the ground, and or posted with an upright sign near that fire lane, stating no parking, which also means no idling with someone in the car waiting on you to come out.

Think again. A knife, screwdriver, or a case cutter works quite well to flatten a tire. Not that I am in any way shape or form advocating violence. The individual that parks in that fire lane when they did not need to, will be quite astonished to the fact that they cannot change that flat tire within another ten to fifteen minutes, which will give the local municipality a chance to show up and ticket them, if not have that persons vehicle towed away.

Of course, that is an extreme way to handle the situation. Let that person go into whatever store, if not Publix, park in a fire lane, just to purchase something and pray to whatever they pray to, that something bad (heart attackBoy, 13, is youngest heart attack victim< stroke, or whatever) does not befall them. They will have a new attitude, if the emergency vehicle has problems parking in the fire lane to rescue them. Time matters (even seconds), when the emergency vehicle does not have an unobstructed fire lane to park in when the paramedics come to save them.

By the way Ed, why do you not require people that post on your site to utilize spell check, and to capitalize proper names, or for that matter, not to use proper grammar, and or syntax?
