I purchased two large poly/cotton/polypropylene Lane recliners for $800/piece. I have a fairly severe respiratory allergic reaction when I sit on either recliner for more than 15". I have no history of seasonal allergies. The local Lane rep advised that I call Lane Consumer Services. The woman said that an allergic reaction isn't covered under warranty and there was nothing she could do. I asked for the names of any chemicals that might have been used to treat the fabric (any stain guard, fire retardant, etc) so I could discuss with a doctor. She claims that the fabric is not treated. I'm out $1600 and Lane couldn't care less.
