Meridith was diagnosed with a rare spinal tumor/lesions. She was 8 years old then. I called his mother whom has always acknowledged Meridith and let her know I needed Daryl for possible bone marrow. He called within minutes with a struggling phone call and came from California to South Carolina. Meridith was hospitalized, had surgery and was placed in a body cast for several years. He stayed with us for several months.
Upon returning to CA for a wedding he started child support payments and was current and in her life for several years. She traveled to CA to visit with him and he paid for this. Suddenly the child support payments stopped and he no longer calls as of 5 years ago.
I had the child support increased to $600.00 as he owns his own construction business and makes way more than i do in SC. He never appeared in court to appeal. He then casually starting missing months at a time for child support and would pay one. Then he would miss 6 months. He doesn't have wages that I can garnish but had property.
Alameda child support does not "enforce" child support payments or enforce the penalities for not complying. It is very difficult to get money from someone that does not work for someone to garnish their checks.
Along with the problem of child support is the hurt when Meridith needs her father and he doesn't call back. We do have a phone number but he never responds to her. How can a man father a child, especially one that survived death as a miracle and look at himself everyday.
I could use help with any information regarding his assets, property, bank accounts, etc. Help Meridith get the money she has needed all these years.
