It doesn't paid to be honest with New York State of Unemployment. I tried to be honest and report any and all self employment work I do (mind you its temporary work) but soon found out how they can deny you benfits. They're currently trying to take away my unemployment away because of this temp work.
If they can find a way to screw you they will. Does it paids to be honest? I think not.
