Went into store to discover my phone had damage. Because i have insurance I was referred to Assurion, who took my information and told me my phone should arrive tomorrow by UPS. I wake to find out that my original phone was turned off without my knowledge. (I am a realtor by trade who receive real estate calls all day due to my business) I called Assurion who told me my phone is schedule to arrive by 3pm. My phone arrived around 7pm. I lost a whole entire day of business. I then opened the box and the clear film on the face of my phone states to dial *228 to activate the phone. What a joke. I called this number several times speaking to the most irritating automated service. Finally after about 30 minutes I call the 611. The agent told me that I had to call from a different phone and not the new phone in which I received. I did not have access to another the phone at the moment. What is wrong with them stating that your original phone will be deactivated and once you receive you new phone will have to call 18888metro8 from a different phone in order to have your phone manually activated.
