Ripoff dishonest fraudulent scam Promise a credit card recieve nothing Cananda

This company is a complete fraud! They promise people with bad or no credit a credit card for a fee of $300. DON'T FALL FOR THIS! They won't send you a credit card. Well, what do you receive for your $300? You get a box. A box filled with cell phone advertisements, phone card advertisements an application to apply for a DEBIT, application for a loan, and a coupon book...

I was contacted by phone by this company and was offered an unsecured credit card with $2500 spending limit and a $500 a day withdrawal limit. When I asked how they had gotten my number they told me I had recently been unapproved for credit. I found this strange since I never applied for credit with anyone. I was told that they were a second chance credit firm for people with poor or little credit to build up their credit and that I was already approved. All I had to do was pay a fee of $299.50. I asked what the fee was for and was told that since I had bad credit, they were taking the risk in issuing me a credit card and the fee was to help offset the risk. The price was on the steep side but I agreed to it and was told I would receive my credit card in about 10 days.

After I agreed to receive a credit card, I was sent to a third party to verify my information. This part of the conversation and only this part of the conversation was recorded. So basically the only thing on tape is me saying yes to questions pertaining to my identity and bank information.

A few weeks passed and in the mail instead of a credit card I received the box I mentioned earlier.in the box along with all the junk advertising was a letter from Premium Savings Group stating and I'll quote:
Provided this is not exactly what was explained to you while placing your order, you may cancel within a ten (10) business day period. The entire payment made by you, less the non-refundable shipping & handling charges of $29.99 will be returned after receipt by Premium Savings Group of your returned package.

I called the phone number at the bottom of the letter and told them that I was promised a credit card and that all I received was an application for a debit card and because this is not what was explained to me while placing my order, I wanted to cancel. I was told that they had to put in a request for a refund and to call back in 1 week. I was then asked if I had received a manila envelope. I told them I had not. The customer service rep then told me that the credit card was in the manila envelope and should arrive about 1 week after I received the box. This calmed my nerves a bit, I was thinking maybe I jumped to conclusions and this company was really sending me a credit card after all.

About a week went by and I finally receive the manila envelope but to my surprise no credit card. What I receive was another application for a credit card through First Premier Bank. The same application that I can get on line for free: https://www.premiercreditcard.com/multiOfferLanding. Aspx

Since I don't feel I should pay $300 for applications, advertisements and coupons that all can be found for free online and since I didn't receive the credit card I was promised, I again called back to customer service to cancel and obtain my refund. When I called I was told that my request for a refund had been denied. I asked why that was and was told that they listened to the recording I had made with the third party verifier and there was no proof that any false promises of being sent a credit card was made to me. Well of course they don't have any recording of the sales rep lying to me; they don't record that part of the conversation! I asked to speak to a manager was put on hold and after a few minutes a man came on and basically told me the same thing, they had no proof I was lied to so I'm not getting a refund.

If this is not a scam, I don't know what is. Don't waist your money! Everything they offer, you can get online for FREE! These people lie to you because they know that no one in their right mind would pay $300 for advertisements, applications and coupons. The coupons aren't even real coupons, you have sign up for trial subscriptions of services from other companies and only after trying their services do they send you a $10 gift certificate to use at a restaurant and you are automatically charged for the subscription if you forget to cancel at the end of your trial. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before this company is put out of business by the Government. BEWARE! STAY AWAY!
