First let me provide some vital data. I live on a USA island in the pacific complete with USA address, USA country code (I dial "ONE" for long Dx calls), USA area code, USA zip code and USA address. The US Postal service also has a POST OFFICE here as are numerous other US government agencies, because we ARE in the USA. I also receive orders from the USA and around the world.
I ordered a battery charger from ALL-BATTERY on eBay.com. They accepted the order and took the money from my card. They also list themselves as sending orders "WORLDWIDE." They claim to be based in the USA, but eBay doesn't give the address.
There are no restrictions on this island to receive orders from ANY country. I even get orders from Walmart!
I was contacted by a person named, "Kind Regards" which is likely customer service. Their advertisement claims WORDLWIDE shipping, having only TWO excluded countries: Russia and the Ukraine. Since I live in the USA and they claim to be based in the USA, and my ADDRESS is USA, I ordered as I always order - as a US citizen, in good faith.
The final email claims they "cannot" ship my paid for product. To date, NO explanation has been made for this denial. Since the advertisement on eBay.com CLAIMS they ship worldwide, minus the above countries, and the fact I live in the USA (outlying minor islands), and my address is fully listed with the US Postal Service, the advertisement posted by ALL-BATTERY is false and misleading to BUYERS - WORLDWIDE — SO BEWARE!!
In truth, All-Battery DOES NOT send orders to USA islands, they certainly lied in the advertising about shipping worldwide, and my address is NOT listed as excluded (see above excluded countries). I know because I typed my exact ZIP CODE in and it produced a USA shipping rate for the order; they have refused to send the order; they have not provided me with a REAL person to speak with to resolve this issue and they have NEVER provided a LEGAL REASON (or any reason), as to WHY they refuse to ship it. A battery charger (aa/aaa sizes), is certainly not illegal, unless they obtained it illegally in the first place.
I fail to comprehend WHY they refuse to send the order. I've received orders of batteries, medicines, tools, electronics, camera equipment and more, from all over the world, with NO problems, until now. ALL-BATTERY must remove the false advertisement which fraudulently claims worldwide shipping.
I even created a FULL SCREEN CAPTURE of the advertisement, including my zip code and the results showing USA SHIPPING RATES.
