Where do I even begin with Aldo Shoes. I purchased a pair of boots with cleaner and my total was $170.00. The day I purchased them, the sales person for one was not very helpful at all, as I was trying to determine what size to purchase as I didn't want the leather to stretch and the boots not to fit. I decided on the 8 1/2. I brought them home and walked with them INSIDE my house (hardwood flooring) as I would to any new pair of shoes, and determined they were too big. I called and they advised me "no problem" bring them back and exchange them. I went to work and went right back to the store, only to be told by the manager (as the Burloke Outlet location0 that I could not return them and I should have otten the smaller size bc leather stratches (maybe something the sales person should have advised me). I was furious! So I drove to the Oakville place location and was told exchanging them was not an issue. They did not have the 8's in stock so they told me they could have them shipped in 3-5 business days. 2 Weeks go by and nothing. I call several times promising me they are on their way. 3 weeks later I am told they were not sent and being shipped expressed (from one city away). So I wait 3 more business days. Still nothing... I just called and was told 3-5 business days. I told them this is not acceptable and was put on hold. 15 minutes later was ung up on. I caled back and their store location (Oakville Place0 is busy. The customer service (or lack there of0 is so disturbing. I have worked in my field for over 10 years and would be fired immediately if I acted half as rude and unprofessional as these managers/staff act. I am seriously never purchasing anything from Aldo and hope people see this post as it is not acceptable for big corporations to act this way!!!
