Apparently a loan company offering my husband £5000, but needed a payment upfront to check he can afford. Paid - queried why paying a person at RBS and not a company. Was assured money would be in the account in 2 hours. 2 hours later receive a call saying money held, need further £200 into someone elses account - queried again. Was told manager's account - HSBC and would then be in our account in 2 hours time! No funds, no refund
