I have writen Equifax four letters requesting they update and remove one of my creditors account. Each time Equifax receives one of my letters requesting a reivesttigation of the account. Equifax send me a letter requesting that I send them a copy of my drivers license and social security card. I have enclosed copies of my drivers license and social security card and pay stub in each one of my letters. The account I`m trying to have updated and removed is being listed by Equifax as Account Name Unknown. This J.J. Marshall & Associates, Citzens Bank account was paid on April 21. Yet Equifax refuses to update my credit report with the correct information. Equifax Data Source No. For the account is (Personal Information Removed). I am trying to buy a home and have been denied credit becauses of this account. Can you please help me with this matter. Thank you.
