On 2 occasions at CVS pharmacy in Galloway a pharmacy tech told me my medicine was not in stock and could not be ordered due to distributor problems. He never went to a computer to try and order the medication just to a book to see if it was in stock... He also told me to go to a different company for my medication!!!
Both times I went to another CVS 5 miles down the road and they told me BOTH times not a problem we have it in stock. I asked "are there any companies you have having a distributor problem with that you know of." Both times the answer was "NO." Both times I asked "could this be ordered for me if by chance you didn't have it in stock." Both time I was told "yes of course." The pharmacist the second time i went said even further, "yes it can be ordered but sometimes this medicine can take up to two weeks to get because it's not something ordered often." He also said he wouldn't know how long unless he tried to order it.
I called corporate on both occasions once in May once in September. Both times I was promised a return call. Neither time have I received a return call. I called again, call number 3, today to tell them I had not had a return call, the rep Richard told me that Vincent Cooper (Whoever that is) had closed the complaint because the pharmacy had reached out and contacted me. I told Richard I had not ever received a return call. I then verified the phone number he had for me and it was correct!
The ONLY good customer service I received was at the CVS in Egg Harbor City, who filled the prescription AND verified that the other CVS rep in Galloway was either lying or misinformed. Either way the tech in Galloway was rude with both his body language and his dismissive attitude regardless of if he was lazy, misinformed or lying. The fact that cooperate did NOTHING is absolutely CRAZY given the fact that the Galloway Tech told me to TAKE MY BUSINESS TO A COMPANY THAT WASN'T A CVS!!! How would you want someone working for you that is telling your customers to go shop someplace else!!!
