I purchased furniture from the above store and was promised delivery on 9/22. When the salesman wrote up my order he informed me that two bookshelves that were part of the order were not in stock but that "they definitely will be for the 9/22 delivery." I have two witnesses to that statement. I received a phone call today telling me that the shelves are on back order and will "possibly" be delivered the following week. I asked that the part of the order that was in stock be delivered on the original agreed upon delivery date, 9/22. I was given such a run around, excuse after excuse, that I was not on the list since delivery dates are "estimated at best." I believe that this is bad business practice at best. Does this mean that if these shelves take six weeks to come in I have to wait six weeks for the other pieces?
