I have purchased a lot of furniture from moda in fairfield, NJ for my new home. My family & I had purchased some new bedroom and living room furniture. The salesman had told me that I would receive it in about three to four weeks. When a month had passed since my date of purchase, I called them and nobody was able to help me. They would say either that everyone is busy or that there was nobody there. They would keep on taking messages but no call back.
I kept on waiting and also calling and when it reached about a little over two months, I could not take it anymore. I went to the store and told them I wanted to return everything. Of course, they had said NO. They didn't even apologize. They had just said that the furniture I had ordered was not in stock and they didn't even have an approximate ship date for me. It has been more than two months since my order and that's all they could tell me. They didn't care at all. I was very upset.
So I said i will exchange to everything that they had in stock. I didn't care anymore. I didn't want to have anything to do with Moda Furniture. I was so disgusted by them. So I changed my order with the ones that were in stock. Now they have no excuse for not delivering my order I thought. Well, I thought wrong!
A month had passed, and no delivery. I was not surprised. I went to the store again to complain. Again, they did not apologize.instead they asked me, "Why didn't you set up a delivery date? This merchandise is just on hold." I could not beleive it. I did not want to complain anymore. It was just not getting through to them. I just asked them to deliver it as soon as possible. I had to look at his computer screen with him to set up my delivery date.
Finally couple days later, my furniture had arrived!!! What a surprise. I thought to myself that I no longer had to deal with Moda Furniture. I was quite happy just thinking about that. I was wrong again. My furniture had come. But. The cushion on my chaise was ripped. Man, I was so pi*ed. It has been two weeks since I had received my furniture and I had told them my furniture was torn. Until today, I did not receive a call back. Never ever buy furniture from Moda Furniture everyone.
