On July 21st I submitted online for a "Free Trail" of Dermaperfect skin care product advertised on a link from Dr. Oz.in bold print the ad exclaimed free trail sample only pay for shipping $6.95. There was no indiation that there would be additional charges or any posted amount of the product other than the free offer. When weeks had pasted and I had not even recieved the product or the email confirmation that I submitted to recieve, I tracked down the 800 number for dermaperfect from my bank statement. I contacted the customer service dept. And spoke to a representive. He was very defensive and asked why I had waited so long to call. Honestly, I had forgotten about my "free" sample untill I saw the shipping charge on my acct. The representative said the post office records a delivery on July 30th. This was August 10th by the way. He advised tht i would have to return the product in order to not be charged for a 30 day supply. Mind you that nothing in the online advertisement said anything about sending a 30day supply or any charge amount for such a supply. The representive told me that the burden of proof that I had not recieved the product "sample" was on me. He gave me a tracking number for the postoffice and it was up to me to contact the post office and locate this package and pay to have it returned. This customer service rep. "Ryan" also told me he would extend my "trail" period 14 days. The same day that I contacted the company stating that I was not interested in their product or their services since they have already proven to not be reliable, I found a pending charge of $99.98 scheduled to be taken out of my acct on 8/15. I also contacted the post office and the product was delivered on 8/11. I followed up with a certified letter to ceise and desist any charges to my account along with the unopened package of the product sample. On 8/14 the $99.98 was withdrawn from my account. I am a single mother struggling to make ends meet. The appeal to ordering this Sample was that their claimed to be no risk of addl' fees. I can afford a couple of dollars for a sample but not hundreds to be removed from my acct for no product and no services. I have be robbed! Dermaperfect company has shown to be just a scam to rip people off. Since my experience I have found addl' information that this product doesn't even work. I am afraid that I am going to have to close my account and open a different one just to insure that my account isn't depleted by these crooks.
