On 17 Aug 12, my son (17 yrs old) called express auto sales in Imperial, MO and spoke to an unknown male. My son asked about a 1995 Honda that was for sale with a firm price of 4999.00. My son asked if this was negotiable. The man was slightly rude and said firm means what it means. I called back and spoke to the same gentlemen. I cited the NADA website had the vehicle rated at a price of 4200.00. He said “not to waste his time” and hung up the phone. I attempted to call back a few times and he immediately hung up the phone. I waited 15 minutes called back, and asked if this was the same gentleman I spoke to. He said it was and that what part of firm did I not understand. I cited there was no reason to be rude and that I was looking for a vehicle for my son. I stated his behavior was terrible for a car dealer and that I would report his business to the BBB. He then told me “to go *ck myself” and hung up the phone. I am a 19 year active duty veteran of the US Air Force. I am stunned that people like this are allowed to represent companies and speak to customers/the public. If this is indicative of MO way of doing business I will stay in IL and request all my military friends to stay away as well. Please address this issue with the above mentioned business. I have never been treated so poorly by a so called “service business.” Absolutely atrocious……..
