I forgot to pay my bill twice due to really busy schedule & Entergy arrived to disconnect service but NEVER disconnected because I paid it online while servicemen at my home. Mind you I have had service with Entergy for over & was never late on payments until about 2 or 3 yrs ago when spouse got laid off but still never ever have a disconnection. Entergy charged us $200 on our bill stating it is due to being on the disconnect list twice. I don't understand how they can take of advantage of consumers but there is only one Electricity company for most of MS. Come to find out, MS Public Service Commission allows this to happen & signed off on this. If a customer can't afford their bill, how they expect them to pay an additional deposit. They know we have no other choice because we need their service. MS Attorney General, Jim Hood has always tried to stop Entergy from ripping consumers off but I guess the other crooked officials are working against us (customers).
