Earlier this afternoon, my fiance headed to our local Walmart store (2239) to pick up a baby car seat that had been delivered via "Ship-to-Store". She arrived at the store at 4pm and was promised assistance immediately. Subsequently, the associate that was assisting her left, never to return and 4 other associates repeated the same process; they asked if she needed assistance and although she agreed, none of these 5 people ever came back to assist. After waiting until 440pm, my fiance contacted me to advise me that no one had assisted her as of yet even though she had been the only person in the "Site-to-Store" area the entire time this ordeal took place.infuriated by the fact that my pregnant fiance was left to wait for so long, I made my way to the store to meet her. Upon my arrival at 445pm, I immediately demanded assistance from management as my fiance was still waiting unattended. We were assisted by the 3 assistant managers at this location immediately. Although they took care of us after an extensive period of time, they never extended an apology and were EXTREMELY dismissive with respect to our complaint. Oscar, the Assistant Manager who was most vocal, stated that this wasn't their fault. It had something to do with the computer system. When I explained to him that Walmart's computer issues were irrelevant to their customer's satisfaction and their obligation to respect their customer's time, Oscar replied "I'm not gonna argue with you. Have a great day." At no point did we receive an apology, nor were we kept in the loop as this entire situation took place. This is one of many instances in which this store has neglected to cater to their "Ship-to-Store" clients. Very recently, we placed another order for "Ship-to-Store" and although we were notified that the order was available for pickup, the associate advised us that this was an error and they wouldn't have it until the next day. I've had a less than stellar experience at this store on multiple occasions and my friends have as well. We are very regular customers and we normally shop at your store for groceries, electronics, hygiene products and anything else we find useful. Your employees lack of respect for your customers will be your downfall as I now intend to shop for these items at HEB and Amazon.com. I thought it important to make you aware of the complete lack of service that is going on at your many locations. I will not be shopping at Walmart any longer and I intend to spread the word to my friends and colleagues.
