Apparently. I fell into the same land scam that i read about from 2 other complaints on your website. Back on May 12 i sent a check for
$ 1,138.00 to a State Acquisitions Corp in Largo, Florida for fees to close a purchase agreement for
land that I own in New Mexico. The closing date with a title company in Tucson, Arizona where I live near was suppose to take place by June 14-15. That never took place, but, I was contacted by a Ron Carpenter requisting another
$1002.00 or 5% total fees to schedule the closing date August 14-15. That check for $1002.00 was sent on July 20. That mailed check was sent from a credit card balance trasfer, but returned for unable to deliver to address sent. I resent the check with their new corporation address on August 10 that I discovered online. Anyway, I just put a block on my credit card account to stop that transfer check from being cashed this morning. After reading your previous complaints, I realized that this is some sort of "land Scam" and wish to add my complaint to your list.
