I am a 2nd time subscriber to Straight Talk—the first cell phone "worked like a jewel"; the second cell which I have purchased "works like junk". The problem? For the last four times that I have tried to add minutes, I have had to go through Straight Talk customer service. Although the advertisement states to purchase the card and just add it, this is not true.in contacting Straight Talk, the average talk time is 40 minutes and the representative has to give me a 6 strings of numbers (approximately 15) to put in the code entry mode. Recently, I had to speak to 4 representatives on Saturday who stated it was going to work when I hung up. (Right!) Next, I called back and spoke to 2 more representatives and 2 supervisors. I really like Straight Talk; however, I am seriously considering contacting Better Business Bureau as well as Clark Howard. I just want a cell phone that works like they advertise. When requesting for a new cell to be sent, the supervisor stated that my cell was working properly. Basically, he was not listening to the frustration in my voice or my technical woes.
