I should have left them years ago. They're overpriced, their drivers seem to skip us often, and their customer service is rude.
I finally decided to cancel after years of dealing with their nonsense (they were a monopoly for a long time). After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I was put on with a CSR who was not in the last bit pleasant about canceling my account. I ended up hanging up and calling back an hour later, waiting 10 minutes on hold, and spoke to another CSR who was rude about me canceling.
My advice: if there's an alternative in your area, use somebody else. They'll jack your bill up every billing period. I started paying $20/month for 95 gallon container, and ended up paying $120/quarter for it. Now that they have competition who only want $15/month, they're reluctant to cancel your account. The fact that there isn't an option to cancel online is indicative of this as well.
