Should instead be Crooks.com Internet

Unfortunately, I had a previous account with AOL. So, I suppose they thought it would be easy to get the money from me when, after canceling my account, they called a month or so later and offered me a free 3 month trial subscription. However, what they didn't know was that I was going through a divorce and no longer had the same bank account. Therefore, automatic draft from that card would be impossible.

Despite that, after about a month and a half, I decided to go with another service and wanted to make sure that the service was canceled and I didn't just leave them hanging. I have two teenage daughters who could go on at any time and use the account and I didn't want to take a chance of that happening since they had set up accounts. So, I called and asked that the account be canceled then to make certain that this would not happen. They urged me to continue until the free trial period was complete. I explained the situation and finally convinced them to cancel the free trial period. I thought.

A year and five months later, I begin getting phone calls at work on a daily basis. Sometimes 4-5 calls a day. They tell me I owe 99.?? And that if I don't pay they will turn me into a collection agency. They give me the option of paying 78.?? If I pay that day. They refuse to let me speak to a manager. He is always in a meeting and they get very rude when I ask them to stop calling me at work. They get even more rude when I tell them I'm not going to pay the bill because I asked them to cancel the subscription. Anyway, I'll never do business with AOL again, and I wouldn't advise anyone to do so.
