Made an earlier flat rate contract of $1,000, paying $100 deposit. However, when the loaders arrived, the driver said that I had to pay $1,488 for a labor and materials contract. Wasted hours to convince me to accept the higher number and threatened to store the goods until paid.

I resisted and they went away with my bank check for $900 for the balance due.
