Same story as everyone else... Forced to take their service on the 'strong advice' of CenturyLink telephone service. They wanted me to sign up for this to get WIFI. Turns out I didn't need it, tried to cancel, and was told it WAS cancelled. Three months later, I find out it wasn't cancelled, so I had to go through the same thing all over again. At least the person on the other end of the line wasn't a jerk, but he did counter everything I said so that it sounded like it was MY fault the unnecessary services weren't used. The phone company basically makes it sound like you HAVE to use the tech help people, then you sit on hold forever at mytechhelp trying to get a live person so you can cancel. Imagine the thousands of dollars they rake in daily because people get tired of listening to MUZAK while waiting endlessly for someone to take them OFF the program. Business' like these are just hoping we are all too tired of waiting and too busy to wait long enough to get rid of them.
