I ordered a trial offer from Keranique in May ($79.95), plus shipping cost of $7.95. Upon receipt of product and after procrastinating too long I discovered I was obligated to pay the charge, since I had not returned the product within the 30 days range. Upon discovering what had happened, I called the company to complain about the charge and at that time I instructed them to cancel any and all future shipments to me. Lo and behold, on July 17, I received another shipment with a bill for $167.85 for two more shipments scheduled for August 19 and September 18. Once again I called the company and was told I could not cancel because of the contract I had with them, which I never heard of before. At that time I once again stated that I wanted no further dealings with them and would send back the shipment received on July 17th, which I did through the U.S. Post Office.in addition, I wrote them a letter (certified) on July 17th stating that I wanted no dealings with them and they were to make no future shipments or make no charges against my bank debit account. Today, July 21. I discovered that Keranique had once again charged my debit card for (would you believe) $79.95. What do I do to get these people off my back or do I need legal representation to charge them with fraud?
