I ordered a trial weight loss product called NiteTrim on the internet. I was to pay for the shipping, and gave my credit card info. This was one of those things where you try it out and if you do not want future shipments you have to call to cancel.
Well, I never received the product so I tried to call them, but had a hard time because their phone number was not going through. I finally got through and told them I have not received the product. They said they would send it out immediately. I waited another week and a half and still have not received anything. So, because I had trouble getting through on the phone, I decided to email them instead, to tell them I still have not received anything. I told them I do not want any future shipments sent to me and do not charge my bank account.
Well, today, I still have not received the product and I noticed they charged my bank account another $52.90 for another shipment. I called to tell them to credit my account the money they charged because I never even got the first shipment to try out and do not want them to ship any more. They would not credit my account because they said they already shipped it. They also said I had to cancel within 23 days. But I never received anything to try out and decide if I want to cancel or not. So how could they ship me another 30 day supply and charge me for it.
I think they purposely offer a free 30day supply with option to cancel if you don't like it, and then they don't ship it until your next shipment is due to ship (so they can charge you before you cancel). But you haven't had a chance to try it yet, so you didn't cancel it yet.
Even though I cancelled any future shipments from now on, they still got $52.90 from me for a free trial I still have not received or had a chance to try.
