My incident that happened on Jun 29 at 3:30pm at No Fills, located at 269 Coxwell Avenue, Toronto. The incident involved an altercation with one of the Managers at that location, because of this I wasn’t going to go back into the store but 10 days or more after I went back into the store because my wife and kids talk me into it and didn’t the manager John come up to me and tell me that since I filed a customer service complaint with the head office that I was banned from the store and if I tried to come back in the police would be called and I would be charged with trespassing. So that’s how management deal with complaints they banned the customer.

This is what Happen:

I was at this location to purchase some pop, I was carrying the two pops one in each arm leaning up against my shirt when I realized that there was something greasy on the bottles that had gotten on my shirt I mentioned this to one of the staff members to let them know that they might want to look into since the bottles are greasy and could fall out of someone hands and someone could get hurt. Plus my shirt was damaged. I was directed to the acting manager named Zia at least that’s what he said his name was he refused to provide me with his last name. I mentioned to him that my shirt was damaged because of the grease on the shirt, his response was “What do you Want from Me”, his behavior escalated to where he was swearing and yelling at me, at one point it appeared that he was going to hit me so the security guard at this location had to restrain him. He yelled if you want just send the shirt to the “fu&%ing cleaners” (sorry for the bad language, his words not mine) and I maybe we will pay the bill. A crowd was building people were yelling at the manager to stop his swearing since there were children in the store, they were saying how they couldn’t believe that a manger of a store would be speaking to someone like that.

I’m a big man and can take care of myself but I was humiliated by this incident, this man has some serious issues with anger if it wasn’t for the security guard I would have been assaulted. I think at this point he might even be a danger to customers in general if they attempt to complain or asked him a question. I waited the weekend to file this complaint until I had time to think about what to do I had thought I might call the police and file a complaint against this location but thought I should try writing head office first to see if something could be sorted out. But as you seen by the opening of my message manager at this location don’t take complaints very seriously.

It happened on Jun 29/12 and it is no Jul 16/12 and the only thing that has happened is that I have been almost assaulted, and banned from a store that did it and the head office and management of No Frills/Loblaws has done nothing, not even made a call to my home to address the issue or to even say sorry for what had happened all I have got is more abuse.

I wanted to let people know that complaints such has these are not taken seriously by head office. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
