I reserved a room for myself, my mother and my two children at the Ramada.com. The room was in Fishkill, NY. The web site claims they have room service and that it is a pet - friendly hotel. I arrived at the hotel with my mother and two mini dogs to be told it WAS NOT a pet-friendly hotel and was charged an extra $100.00 dollars. PLUS there is NO ROOM SERVICE in this hotel and ALL ELECTRONICS had been unplugged. The in-room coffee maker was in a place where IT DID NOT REACH AN OUTLET and ROOM SERVICE CAME IN WITHOUT KNOCKING after check-in. I have NEVER had such a lousy stay at a hotel. I am disabled, so room service was important. I am totally annoyed. My bank card was charged 203.00 before chec-in and an additional charge of $50.00 was also taken. The room was to have free internet access and I have only been able to connect to through HOLIDAY INN. Go figure! Talk about a rip-off!
