I am afraid I did not read the complaints about Priceline before I had to cancel a Hotel room due to illness. Four different e-mails were sent with the first three stating I would be charged a cancellation fee of $25 per night—since I was staying three nights I thought I would lose $75. No! The fourth e-mail I received stated not one, but both rooms I had reserved on Priceline would be charged $75 per room per making a total of $150 cancellation fee. My fellow teacher who I had reserved a room for, as well, seems to have been tangled up in this mess due to my using my credit card for her room and mine. What a mistake! How can a company serve their clients with such horrible customer service. This makes outsourcing look so bad when they cannot make excellent customer service decisions. B.L.
