My pool is 8 years old. I had Leslie's replace my pump motor less than 2 years ago, and the motor is making the same whining noise it did when I had it replaced. When the repair man showed up he had very few tools to work with. After about an hour, I noticed him struggling with trying to remove the bolts on the existing motor. I came out to to check up on him and noticed he was trying to loosen the bolts by tightening them. What can be said about a professional repairman that does not even know how to loosen a bolt up. I made him leave when I realized he did not know what he was doing. Two days later his boss showed up to finish the job and I`m not sure he put the motor in properly and if he had installed it properly, I don`t think I would be dealing with the same issue less than 2 years after at a cost of $500.00. I was also told that their warranty is 1 year labor, and 90 day on parts. Leslie's stores have great products, but don`t ever use their service department, very unprofessional...
