During the hottest time of year in St. Louis and with a Trane A/C that was 1 month from being 5 years old, the A/C quit working. Paid the $99 after hour service charge, the $100 labor for capacitor replacement (which didn't fix it) and then waited Friday - Monday until they could get the fan motor part delivered from Kansas City, MO. Not a great experience whatsoever. Then paid $200 labor to replace the fan motor. If this would have happened 1 month later, just into 5 years old on the unit, the fan motor labor would have cost over $1100.
So it's not that hard to stop a TRANE after all! Or stop me from every buying one of their products again.
