I've had Directv for 5 or 6 years. They initially gave me an analog dvr as a bonus for signing up with them. A few years later I got an hdtv and they sold me a hdtv dvr for $300. Today I cancelled my service and they informed me that I would have to return both boxes which are mine. I informed them that the boxes were mine and they agreed that I paid $300 for the hdtv box but that it really cost $600 and that after my $300 payment I was leasing the box. At this point I figured I don't want to do business with these crooks again so they can have their boxes with pleasure.
