On or around June 6th a contracted Representative of AT&T Uverse (C4) came to my home and offered the Uverse services both TV and High Speed Internet with no installation fee, as well as no deposit or setup fees what-so-ever. We waited for several weeks and never heard from AT&T. On June 26th, we called to inquire, we were transferred to no less than 12 different people, before someone said they could correct the issue. Today someone called from 404 362 0021 stating that they were from AT&T Uverse, and that due to my wife's credit rating they would require a $400 non refundable deposit. First they were NEVER given permission to access my wife's credit, nor did they request permission to do so. Secondly we were told by the Representative of AT&T that there would be no fees what-so-ever up front, the first month would be free, and the monthly bill would be approximately $85.00, we agreed to this only because the monthly bill was less than what we are currently paying BrightHouse.in the end AT&T and their affiliate C4 has blatantly lied to us.
