Unable to place orders due to fraud alert on credit report

I closed my account with Seventh Avenue, due to not being able to place an order. I can't use my line of credit because Seventh Avenue credit department claims that I have a "fraud alert" on my credit report. I told Seventh Avenue credit department over and over that I did not authorize a fraud alert on my credit report. I even contacted the three agencies that they use (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) and none of them have any record of a fraud alert on my credit report.

When I called Seventh Avenue back to give them this information, they insisted that they see the fraud alert and they can't access my credit report.By this point, I am extremely frustrated. The customer service representative tells me that due to this "fraud alert" I have to wait on a phone call from another one of their departments so that they can verify that it's me placing the order.

Mind you, I can't call these people. I have to WAIT for them to contact me. I ask the customer service rep why do I have to wait for them to call, why can't I call them? She couldn't give an explanation. I have better things to do than sitting by the phone waiting for these people to call.

So in the end I closed this account. There is no point in me having a line of credit if I can't use it. I repeatedly told the credit department after contacting the credit bureaus that there is no "fraud alert", but yet they insist there is. So, Seventh Avenue has lost a customer.
