We recently came into contact with a woman who stated she also was a 501c3 org.
She promised us sponsorship, a 200k grant and 400 dollars for the "adoption event" at which she claimed there would be over 40 dogs, and 20 cats. She employed us to pick up 3 canines that were "abused" the pups were "unwanted"
The adoption event was a farce! The only ones there were the 3 I picked up!
The 400 she claimed to have in foster care were a no show! Now she wont return our calls emails, texts. Pissed I did a bit of digging, turns out there is NO article of incorporation with the state of Ohio! So with that I seriously doubt she has the 501c3 status she claims to have. She states she is no-kill and lies to people saying they will die by 5pm if not adopted! Here to find out she gets dogs free off craigslist, and sells them to unsuspecting people.
She is defrauding people, and We believe the state of Ohio. Please look into this.
