I answered an ad on Craigslist. It was for a personal assistant. I busted my ass for a week working for Michelle Nelson. I was doing jobs a normal personal assistant would not be responsible for. I wanted to make a good impression and I really needed the money.
I am still owed over 300 dollars. I was only given 225. I filed a report with the Missouri Labor board because she refuses to pay me the money I was told I would be making. What I did earn is extremely under minimum wage, also illegal.
Do not work for her if you want to get paid. She will work you for as long as she needs you and then lie about why you are dismissed. Stealing is her main excuse. Along with whatever other lies she can come up with.
I am not the only one. I had other "assistants" come forward with the same story. She advertises on Craigslist often. If you work for her make sure you get paid and everything in writing. Don't be a victim.
