I adopted a dog from this company. I was told that they had picked up the dog as a stray one week before I adopted it. This adoption site does not test the dogs' as to nature, illness, quirks, etc., before listing them on the Internet. I paid a $200.00 adoption fee for the dog. The dog turned out to have an aggresive attitude toward men and children, and almost bit 3 people. The dog brought fleas into my home. The dog was constantly sneezing and choking on something. A few days after bringing the dog into my home, my cat got sick and I had a vet bill of over 200.00.
This company agreed to refund 1/2 of my adoption fee. We made arrangements to meet and exchange dog for 100.00. Once the dog and the adoption papers were taken from me, the company representative said that she did not have my money, but that the board would send a check to me. I still have her message on my phone in which she stated that the board had agreed to refund my money.
Despite repeated phone calls to her and a couple of other representatives of this company, I have not received my money.
There is something fishy about this company, and if anyone has had a similar experience, I would love to hear from them. This company lies and cheats. I would not recommend adopting from this company.
