On 6/9 I placed an order with Lowes on line for (2) 37"Wx22-1/2" D Mocha Brown Natural Quartz vanity tops, that were on sale for 90% off the original price. According to the order the estimate pickup date was 6/23. I called the store and customer care to verify the pick up date. I was informed that it should be at the store by 6/16. I called on 6/16 and was told that it had not arrived to wait and call back on 6/18. On 6/18 I called and was informed that I needed to speak to John the plumbing manager, he stated he had called TFI the distributing company and was told that they sold 200 vanity to Lowes 2 years ago and that they didn’t have any available. At this point John said he would call me back after he did some calls and investigations. On 6/19 John calls me back and says there are no vanities available anywhere. He gave me the store managers name (John Cipriano) and told me to give him a call. I bought all the bathroom accessories and floor tiles based on the color and material from the vanity that I was supposed to have received. This is false advertisement. I called customer care again and they suggested I contact the store manager and talk to him to see how I can be compensated. I called the store and left a message to the manager but he has not gotten back to me. I feel I should have them replaced with something similar and at the price that I paid for the other ones. They should not have advertised on line these vanities and charged them to my credit card if they didn’t have them to begin with. I paid $82.74 for the vanities plus 167.26 for the accessories.
