I would like to commend Lowes for standing behind the products that they sell. At the end of May I purchased a new Samsung microwave from Lowes on-line sales.
In September I had a service call for a 'groaning' noise and the tech said my magnatron was going out. The cost to repair the unit was more than to simply replace same, and I didn't want to keep the lemon.
I called the local Lowes store that had delivered my microwave and spoke to Diane the manager.instead of the runaround I had received when I called into the regular call center, Diane simply stated to me that they would take care of the matter and replace it with a new one.in addition, they had the new unit delivered to me on a Sunday no less! Their customer care was outstanding.
I would like to add that when I initially called the manager I told her that per the information I was looking at the unit was out of stock at the Cottle location. While she said that they no longer did inter-store transfers, she would personally go and pick up the replacement unit from another store so as to have it available to deliver to me.
Overall, an outstanding transaction.
