On May 1st. 2012 I registered my daughter for summer camp at Tutor time in Lindenhurst New York. I gave them a check for $50 to register her and then I wrote another check for $790.00 for the camp itself. Then on Tuesday May 29th I had a family issue that came up and I had to cancel camp. Today is June 14th and I still have not received my money back. I have called several times and they keep making up excuses so yesterday the 13th I called the corporate office and they were going to look into it but they told me that that particular tutor time is a franchise and they really have nothing to do with it. I'm telling my story because I don't want to see this happen to anyone else. I work hard for money and times are tough it took them 2 days to cash my check and it's taking me almost a month now to get my money back. I am very upset and annoyed, how would they feel if this happened to them? I would not recommend sending your child to a place like this.
