Camp Cargo engaged by Summit Camp to provide delivery service for baggage from homes to sleep-away camps. Filled out application, sent in check (they do not take credit cards), which was promptly cashed.
A couple of weeks before bags are supposed to be picked up, camp calls telling us Camp Cargo will not be taking the bags after all. No communication or explanation from Camp Cargo.
Tried reach Camp Cargo, but no responses or messages returned. No idea if/when they will refund money. No idea if they will reimburse us for hassle and expense in getting bags to camp on such short notice.
As far as I know, dozens of customers have been stranded by Camp Cargo's unexplained abandonment of their pre-paid business.
