Cancellation was requested within half a day of booking, but not a penny was refunded. The cancellation process through the Airbnb website, did not alert me of no refund. There was no information on screen about total loss. I had to cancel the booking under special circumstances, to stay with my wife at the hospital. I provided the details through the website. But there was no further response. Once the money is drawn, I was trapped. Extremely unethical practice by airbnb.
