I purchased a laptop for a birthday gift, and I was stupid in the way I paid for it. They told me the only way I could pay was to purchase $800 in Amazon gift certificates and give them the gift certificate number. They said this way I wouldn't have to pay tax on it! I paid in this manor, and then I went to NY thinking my laptop would be here when I got home. It wasn't here, so I tried to research following up on the order. Everything I tried to do to contact them, bounced back saying it wasn't a good website link, not a good email address, and no phone number. I paid for the Amazon gift certificate by Visa, but Visa said I got what I paid for, the certificate. I called Amazon twice, but got no where. I filed a report with the sheriff's department, and got no where with them. I know they just tossed the complaint. You are my last hope! How does this work, and what do you need from me?
