I had posted a rental room on Craigslist, a lady replied saying she was in south africa doing research then coming to Canada to go to school. Her so called dad was to send me 2 months rent to hold the place for her. Once i recieved the payment it was 2100.00 too much so i was to keep the rent money and send the 2100.00 to her so called travelling agent. I tried sending it through a few money transfer places and they would not send it because they suspected fraud, so a lady that worked at 1 of these places said i should contact the police just to be safe, so i did. Meanwhile Nina would send me 1-3 different names a day to try send it to and she wanted it done immediatly. Once i told her I contacted the police they (Nina and her so called dad) stopped emailing and calling me. I put the 2100.00 in to my bank which got frozen and still owe. Any funds that goes into my account is held until it is all paid back. I now have no rent, money for bills or groceries. Having 2 young children this is very stressfull!
