I am completely mortified. I was unable to attend the funeral of my daughter-in-law's grandmother - a lovely lady whom I was privileged to meet. When I went to the funeral home announcement, they had an option to send flowers through FTD. I selected a lovely arrangement that included a plant - even sent a reminder to let family members know that could take it home. Ordered on Sat for Mon delivery and got a call on WEDNESDAY that it didn't happen. Representative said they didn't know what happened and offered to deliver to family's home address... But of course, they didn't know the address. I'm not sure when they'll be home. Finally asked them to deliver to me and I will deliver - to arrive THURSDAY with 25% discount. Will never do business with them and will advise all family and friends of same. I am very embarrassed and have learned an important lesson. Although I can't "see" the arrangement a local florist does, I would NEVER trust FTD to deliver on time for an important occasion. Unacceptable for so large an organization. Will discuss with American Express as well.
