Limo service complaint

We had an unfortunate situation occur just recently due to a family wedding. Let me explain. We NEVER met with anyone, sign a contract, pay a deposit, or receive a copy of any limo contract. However on Monday, May 21, well in advance of the 72 hour window, I notified the staff at 8 am that we could not afford the service. The staff "dropped the ball" and never officially cancelled the service. On their own website it states categorically and specifically that "WE REQUIRE A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER TO SECURE RESERVATIONS." Since we cancelled well in advance of the required 72 hour window, no deposit was ever paid, no limo should have ever been reserved for this event. However the company charged illegally our VISA RUSH card an exorbitant sum of money for services that were never provided.

We have spoken with an attorney about this situation, and we are investigating legal representation. We would appreciate a full refund of monies charged and paid, plus extra fees we have incurred because this money was NOT authorized to be paid to this business. Let me further say that when we called to notify and request cancellation 5 days in advance, the staff was most disrespectful and unprofessional to myself, my daughter, and hew new husband. Thank you.
